JR KAWS BASKETBALL
The Junior Kaws Basketball league is a recreational league that is open to any child between the grades of Kindergarten and 6th grade that attends USD 343. Kids in kindergarten will play on co-ed teams. First - 6th graders are broken up by grade/sex. Depending on the number of players multiple grade may be on one team. Kindergarten - 2nd grade play in the morning, with 3rd - 6th playing in the afternoon. All games are played on Saturday at the old high school gym in Lecompton (by the museum).
JR KAWS FOOTBALL & CHEER
Jr. Kaws Football, Inc is a recreational organization that is open to any child between the grades of Pre-K and 6th grade. It is not required to attend USD 343 to participate. Our mission is to bring youth in our community together through football and cheer- a positive presence that is striving to develop and foster both on-the-field skills as well as valuable lifelong lessons. We, as an organization, are dedicated to teaching our young athletes the importance of teamwork, respect, perseverance, and confidence in themselves. The ultimate success for our organization will be seeing our athletes embody these values on the field, in the classroom and throughout our community.
